  • What is your jewellery made from and what is recycled silver?
I use 100% recycled 925 sterling silver which is repurposed from old jewellery, medical supplies and electronics. It is exactly the same quality as 925 sterling silver, no properties are changed in the process of recycling. Fine silver is also used for the strip of silver that surrounds the sea glass. The necklace chains are made of 925 sterling silver.
  • Do you offer a different size or style of chain?
If you have a specific chain in mind, I can see what I have available or order in just what you are after. Please be aware that this may affect cost and dispatch times.
  • Why is my silver turning dull or black?
Dull or black areas are caused by tarnish and this is completely normal. Over time exposure to sulphides that are found naturally in the air will cause the surface of the silver to darken. A light polish with a silver polishing cloth will remove the tarnish and bring back that shine. I include a silver polish cloth with every order.
  • How do I care for my jewellery?
Silver can tarnish with time but a little care will go a long way in keeping your silver shiny. The following are some guidelines to help take care of your silver jewellery: 1) Avoid showering, swimming and exercising with your jewellery on. 2) Avoid contact with perfumes, soaps, moisturiser and sanitizer. 3) Store your jewellery in a dark, dry place. 4) The occasional polish with a jewellery polishing cloth with remove any build up of dirt, grease, grime and light tarnish.
